The German Investor Protection Improvement Act (AnSVG) has stipulated significant changes to the provisions of the Securities Trading Act. In particular, the group of persons subject to reporting requirements was expanded/modified, the group of issuers subject to publication requirements was enlarged, limits for minor offences were lowered, and exemptions were eliminated.
